| Self discovery through time management |

Use of time management tools and methods gradually leads one into a journey of self discovery. I have seen that happen in my experience. As we start becoming more aware of what we are doing, what we want to do by focusing on our tasks, we start questioning our own motivation. Why am I doing this? What is my purpose in doing this? This can certainly happen when we catch ourselves on slipping on some of the habits. For example, you have been exercising every day for a period of 6 months and after some time you stopped it. The habit has been broken and you want to restart the same. When you want to restart you need a higher and stronger motivation. This leads to asking ourselves some questions like Why do I need to exercise? What if I give up exercise? Asking ourselves such questions forces us to answer in a long term perspective than a short term perspective. The answers you discover will lead you on to greater questions in life sometimes. Answer this example might be Our health is more important and hence the habit of exercise is going to help us remain healthy.
