Tips for Stress Management

Do you feel overworked? Do you feel stressed? Are you aware of situations which are causing stress to you?

In pursuing individual happiness one needs to be aware of the stress periods of life and take steps to tackle them. Anyone can face the stress periods in one’s lifetime

High stress periods of life are

-          Ill-health

-          Job-loss

-          Financial Insecurity

-          Death in Family

-          New birth in Family

-          Marriage

-          Change of Job/Relocation

When such periods arrive without any preparation the stress will be much higher. One needs to be aware what can disturb existing state of happiness and be prepared to face situations. The following links will be useful in one’s preparation for the same.

Exercise:

Go through the above lists and make a short list of potential stress conditions you face and against each stress list the items you can use to reduce the same. Keep the list with you always and take action on the weak areas. This exercise can be useful for you at any time in future.
