Faith in God

My opinion of God is the vital force that makes the world going. There have been lot of experiments to find out what really drives the world. Still we have not reached any conclusions. There have been so many other names given to the unexplained phenomena: spirit, soul, atma etc.

Thinking in the practical sense I feel whatever motive that inspires people to do good, be good and live their life in communion with others is Godliness.

Surprisingly this vital faith or phenomenon of GOD provides the motive for many people. In India Indian Railways is the official 'largest employer'. But I feel God is the unofficial 'largest employer'. The number of people whose lives revolve around God related activities are quite high. Just take example of Tirupati/Tirumala. Thousands throng the temple every day just to have a few seconds glimpse of God. So many people: Priests, Employees of TTD, the travel agents, people who drive buses from/to tirupati tirumala, shop owners on the hill etc. you can keep expanding the list. If I extend the same logic: in India the number of people whose living depends on the concept of 'Faith in God' is very high. It is impossible to imagine India without God/Temples. If all those people become unemployed I cannot imagine what will happen.

God is also the inner divinity in every individual. We cannot feel it. We keep saying I don't believe unless I can see. But we don't apply the same logic to everything in the world. We cannot see air, but we feel it and say air exists. We cannot see heat, but we feel it and say heat exists. In air and heat we can only see the manifestation of the power. Same way, God exists, but we cannot see . We can only feel/perceive manifestation of God. We go by majority opinion. since everyone says air exists we also believe air exists. But so many people say God exists but no one believes them.

I have another logic to impress a point it is always not possible to see yourself. Sometime you have believe or Trust others. Imagine a tall building. There are people in 5th floor, 10th floor etc. and you are on ground floor. Person on 5th floor says he can see trees from his place. Just because we can't see the trees from ground floor we don't reject the truth that trees exist. Similarly if the person on 10th floor says he can see the sea you cannot reject it straight away. Your faith in the individual will make you either accept or reject the statements made the persons on 5th and 10th floor. You need to climb up on this faith and see the trees and sea after climbing up. In  similar manner, we should climb the spiritual ladder to realise God. There are so many examples we encounter in our life when our faith becomes strong and we say God exists. But we always get back into doubt. This is the maya of God.
