*** Thoughts on a Birthday ***

Birthdays come and go every year,
In everyone’s life, young and old,
Important on this day is to review
Of what I had achieved last year
And what have I to achieve this year.

Did I expand my personality further
Spreading all around fragrance of joy,
Did I spread more happiness to others,
Increasing my happiness in all ways.

Did I develop more positive thoughts,
Put them into action happily, daily
That improved quality of my life further
Contributing more to the Organisation

Did I help the poor, invalid and deserving
Did I return part of my fortune to society
In recognition of my gratitude to it,
From which I have received so much
That helped me to grow to this much

Did I take care of my responsibilities
To self, family, organization and society
As an individual and worker of any type
Sincerely to me and to everyone around
