Blogger Upgrade

I switched to new version of blogger today. Following were key updates in blogger

• Unified login with Gmail account
• Ability to assign tags and categorize posts
• Ability to add more than one author for a blog

I am not going to use third item mentioned above, but ability to assign tags is definitely one I have used. I considered switching from blogger to another one because of this missing feature. When I found that updates are coming, I decided to wait. In absence of this feature, I was adding category as title to my earlier posts. Now I can eliminate this.

Today I went through the upgrade and also tagged majority of my previous posts. I was able to add tags but could not publish entire blog in one shot.

Anyway, this provides better way to categorize posts and blog readers can focus on areas of their interest.
